The short version

The demo on the home page runs in your browser and sends nothing to us. If you sign in, we store your email address and the scans you run, so you can see them again. When you ask for an AI rewrite, that one sentence and its paragraph go to OpenAI to produce it. We do not train anything on your text, we do not sell data, and we set no tracking cookies.

What we store

• Account: your email address and sign-in timestamps. Sign-in is by one-time email link; there is no password.
• Scans: the text you scanned, its score, and its findings, for 90 days, then deleted by a nightly job.
• API keys: a one-way hash of each key, its name, and when it was last used. The key itself is never stored.
• Voice profile (Team plan): measurements of your uploaded writing such as sentence-length mix and punctuation rates. The uploaded texts are read once and discarded.
• AI rewrites: a timestamp for each rewrite you ask for, to apply the monthly limit, deleted after the following month. The sentence and the rewrite are not stored.
• Team seats: the email addresses a plan owner invites.
• Billing: your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and the plan status. Card details never reach us; Stripe holds them.
• Release-notes list: an email address you gave us for that purpose, and nothing else.

Cookies

Only the session cookie that keeps you signed in, plus a browser-local preference for the theme and the demo history. There are no advertising or cross-site cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner. Page analytics are cookieless and aggregate.

Where it runs

Hosting on Vercel; database and authentication on Supabase in the EU (Frankfurt); payments on Stripe; AI rewrites on OpenAI, which does not train its models on API inputs; page analytics on DataFast. Each is a processor under a data processing agreement.

Your rights

You can delete your account from the billing page at any time; scans, keys, seats, and billing records go with it, and Stripe keeps only the invoices it must keep by law. For access, correction, or portability requests, email 0xnykcd@googlemail.com. You may also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate.
