Copylint

Terms

Last updated 14 September 2026. These terms are between you and SplitLabs OÜ.

What Copylint is

A deterministic checker for user-facing copy. It reports findings against a published catalog of rules and suggests fixes. It never changes your text on its own: catalog fixes and AI rewrites apply only when you accept them, and an AI rewrite can be wrong, so review it like any other edit. It does not detect who wrote a text and does not claim a passing score means a person wrote it. A pass is a floor for your own review, not a certificate.

Plans and payment

Your content

Text you scan stays yours. It is stored only to show your history and deleted after 90 days. Voice profile uploads are measured and discarded. Your content never trains anything and never builds products for others.

Acceptable use

Availability and liability

The service is provided as is. We aim for it to be available and correct, and we publish parity checks against the open-source scanner, but we do not guarantee uptime or that a finding is right for your context. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before a claim.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or abuses the API, with notice where practical. Estonian law applies; disputes go to the courts of Estonia.
